TO THE MOON AND BACK
Manipulation at its best
You got me like one of them
One of those you manipulate
I just shut my mouth and bend
It's all about what you'd like to do
One day you're here
Next day you're not
Why can't you just be sincere?
Ok, I assume,
Time is yours
And I'm like ok, I'm inmune,
But waiting on you still hurts
So one day it's my turn
And I'm supposed to wait for it
Names on your list I'd burn
To be the one you want to be with
But it's alright, nevermind
I'm not waiting in line all the time
I do my own thing,
However I can not to think about you
And then I'm fine
But you got me somehow,
When you pull my strings
All I can do is to take a bow
And the little voice inside me sings:
"You're going down, deep down"
I come back to the surface and think
Then I feel your breath in my mouth
Just keep pulling my strings
There's a little chance of waking up soon
While I get there,
Take me to Mars, to the moon,
We can leave a flag there,
Next to so many you've taken before,
But you'll see I've left some there long long ago,
This isn't the first time I let myself go
Into something that could just go wrong
And if it goes well
And you choose me among them,
We can live that sick fairy tale
And pick that one song as our anthem
The one we could love or hate forever
There's only one step from each other
But you seem to be clever,
And I love it, let's live it, no anthem,
why bother?
