ANOTHER CHRISTMAS

The time of the year when I miss you the most

It's not that I don't miss you the rest of the year
It's not that I don't miss you more each day
But every christmas since you left is getting harder to get through 
It will be a new year and I need you

I love the city lights, fake trees with lights 
Cause they look like stars 
With tears in my eyes 
They shine 
Starry-eyed watching how beautiful christmas time is
It will be a new year and I wish you were with me here

It could be any time of the year
But you know that we grew up with it 
The dinner, the lights and the tree
We were 5, then were 4, then just 3
And it was beautiful still when it was you and me
It's still beautiful but sad cause Molly and I miss you here

The dinner, the tree and the lights
The gifts, the music, the smiles
It makes me happy to see it in someone else's life
We used to have that 
It will be another christmas, a new year, 
Happy new year, I miss you so much.
